ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

For admission, you can either apply online after visiting the website of the college or by directly reaching out to the college and get the Application form.

You will have to submit self-attested xerox copies of the necessary documents to the college. Your application/ admission will be rejected if you are unable to submit the required documents within the given time.

If you want admission to the college, you should have the following eligibility for different courses.

• BSc Nursing Course.

You should have completed the age of 17 on or before 31^st December of the year of admission and should have passed 2 years Pre- University examination conducted by the Department of Pre- University Education. You should have studied English as the subject of language should also have studied the Science subjects from a recognized board or university.

You should pass 10+2 Class or equivalent with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English core / English Elective with an aggregate of 45% of marks. You should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board under CBSE/ ICSE/ AISSCE/ SSCE/ HSCE or any other equivalent board.

• MSc Nursing Course.

You should have passed B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and should have completed it from an institution recognized by the INC. You should have a minimum of one year of work experience after obtaining a degree in a hospital or nursing educational institution or community health setting.

If you have completed a PB B.Sc Nursing degree, no work experience is required after your graduation.

• Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course.

You have passed Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized university. You must have completed it before 1986. And you should be below 48 years of age on 31^st December of the year of admission. You should also have working knowledge of English

For this course, you should a minimum of 50% in Diploma or degree in General Nursing and Midwifery and should be a registered nurse with at least 1 year of work experience. You will also have to be medically fit.

You should have also passed the Pre- University Examination in Arts/ Science/ Commerce conducted by the Department of Pre- University of Education of Karnataka state or its equivalent recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science.

Good personality and professional record are also need for admission.

• GNM Nursing Course.

For admission for GNM course, you have to pass 10 +2 in Arts ( mathematics, biotechnology, political science, economics, history, business studies, home science, geography, accountancy, psychology, philosophy, sociology) and English core / English Elective or Healthcare science – Vocational stream only with an aggregate of 45% of marks. You should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board under CBSE/ ICSE/ AISSCE/ SSCE/ HSCE or any other equivalent board.

You should be within the age bar of 17 to 35 of age for getting admission.
