Admission Procedure

  • Students must have taken the two-year P.U.C. test or a comparable exam with English as one of the language requirements and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional courses, with a minimum of 50% overall in the relevant science areas (physics, chemistry, and biology)
  • Candidates who are proficient in Sanskrit will receive preference.
  • Students who have passed their B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology (Zoology or Botany) are also eligible for admission. They must have English as their additional subject and the aggregate must be 50%.
  • However, the minimum percentage required for admission to the BAMS course is modified by 10% for students who are members of SC/ ST and category I of Karnataka State.
  • After pursuing studies at an Ayurveda Medical College accredited by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, or from an accredited Ayurveda Medical College connected with another university, a candidate affiliated with this university who has completed the final year B.A.M.S. test,
  • The candidate must have completed a one-year mandatory internship at the teaching facility or another organisation accepted for internships by C.C.I.M.
  • To be eligible for admission, a candidate must have State Ayurveda Practitioners Registration Board or Ayurveda Council registration.
