ADMISSION PROCEDURES

For online admissions, you should download the Application form from the website.

You have to completely fill the application form with all the necessary details and email the necessary documents or submit them directly or sent them via registered post with A/D to the college before the closing date of application. Without the proper documents/ certificates in proof of claim made will be rejected without further intimation, so be careful about that. Your applications will be rejected if they are late or incomplete.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

If you want admission to the college, you should have the following edibility for different courses.

• BSc Nursing Course.

You should have completed the age of 17 at the time of admission and should have passed 2 years Pre- University examination conducted by the Department of Pre- University Education. You should have studied English as the subject of language and also Physics. You should also have studied Biology and Chemistry as individual subjects.

You should pass 10+2 Class or equivalent with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) with an aggregate of 45% of marks.

You are also supposed to have a good personal and professional record.

• MSc Nursing Course.

You should have passed B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and should have completed it from an institution recognized by the INC.

You should have at least one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing. And you should be medically fit also.

• Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course.

For this course, you should be a registered nurse and should have a degree in General Nursing and Midwifery.

You should have also passed the Pre- University Examination in Arts/ Science/ Commerce conducted by the Department of Pre- University of Education of Karnataka state or its equivalent recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science.

• GNM Nursing Course.

For admission for the GNM course, you have to complete the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic / Vocational) of the 10 + 2 curriculum approved by the appropriate authority of the state governments. You should also have a working knowledge of English also.
