Distance

The Aditya College of Nursing is located at the Kogilu Main Road of  Bangalore and is easily accessible through different transportation systems according to your convenience.

If you land at the Bangalore International Airport then the college is located at a distance of approximately 18 km which will take you around 23 minutes to reach the college by cab or bus according to your choice.

The college is situated at a distance of approximately 17 km from the Bangalore Railway Station which will take you around half an hour to reach the college.  You can take either a bus or book a cab to reach college.

Eligibility for Admission

Eligibility stands for the minimum criteria that are required for a candidate to take up the admission procedure.

Minimum eligibility criteria for admission in B.Sc Nursing:

  • Candidate must have completed 17 years of age by 31 December of the commencing academic year.
  • For the candidate seeking admission, they should have passed 10+2/PUC/PDC examination from a recognized university or equivalent to that of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
  • The candidate must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% including subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination.
  • For those belonging to the scheduled caste or scheduled tribe the minimum passing aggregate is 40%
  • The Foreign nationals applying should have qualified their 12th standard from a recognized Indian university or institution as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council.

Minimum eligibility criteria for admission in Post Basic Nursing:

  • No candidate who is above 48 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission will be eligible
  • Should have passed the general nursing pre-university examination from a recognized university of the State or equivalent to that.
  • Must hold a diploma in GNM Nursing.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse.
  • The Foreign Nationals seeking admission should have the Registered Nursing certificate of their own country.

 

Minimum eligibility criteria for admission in M.Sc Nursing:

  • The candidate must be a Registered Nurse.
  • Should be a Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  • Should have passed with a minimum aggregate in the qualifying examination of B.Sc Nursing/ Sc Hos. Nursing/  Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized university or that equivalent to RGUHS.
  • Those who have a minimum of one year of experience after B.Sc Nursing from a recognized health institution or health care centre.
  • No such experience is required for the candidate who has completed Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
  • The foreign nationals who are seeking admission to the M. Sc Nursing program must have a valid certificate of a registered nurse by their own country except for OBG specialty.

 

Minimum eligibility criteria for admission in General Nursing:

  • The candidate must have passed its 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from the State Open School recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.
  • A Registered ANM with minimum passing marks.

Documents for Admission

Documents play a very important role in all the official proceedings. Keep your documents verified attested and ready before going to college for admission. They play a very major role in your identification and always have to be kept updated.

NOTE:  Always keep 4-5 photocopies of your documents attested and ready in hand for a hassle-free process.

Scholarship Details

Those who want to study nursing but are being hesitant due to their financial background and have an outstanding result of their boards (10+2).

NOTE: The scholarship can be availed only by the students who are eligible for it.

  • For those who have scored above 90% in their 10+2 examinations.
  • For those scoring above 80% in their 10+2 examinations.
