Admission Criteria for BDS

  • Have reached the age of 17 as of December 31st of the Admission Year.
  • To go through the procedure and practice dentistry, you must be medically fit.
  • Have completed the Karnataka II PUC exam or an equivalent test with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages. (Received 50% in the three areas and English as a whole)
  • The minimum mark for candidates from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 40%.
  • Admission to the program is entirely dependent on the NEET Eligibility CARD.

  • Compulsory Internship Completion Certificate for one year.
  • State Dental Council of India Registration Certificate
  • Certificate of Migration from the University where the B.D.S. course was completed.
  • Photocopy of the student’s Aadhar Card Physical Fitness Certificate with identifying markers
  • Four passport-sized photographs and two stamp-sized photographs of the student

  • NOC from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s Department of Health in Delhi (In case of overseas Nationals).
  • Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, issued an eligibility certificate. (Not applicable to R.G.U.H.S. BDS STUDENTS.)
  • Copies of passports and visas are required for international college students.
  • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe college students must present the Caste and Income Certificate issued by utilizing the Tahasildar for the current academic year at the time of admission.
  • OBC students must present the relevant Certificate and Income Certificate from Tahasildar at the time of admission for the current academic year.
  • A photocopy of the parent’s or student’s Pan Card is required.

Hostel 

A separate hostel for men and women is located near the college. Three women’s hostels, Hemavathi, Vedavathi, and Netravathi, are housed in a separate building, while the Dental Campus Boys Hostels are near to the college. 

Mess (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), transportation, 24-hour internet access, and security are all provided. Every hostel has a permanent warden, and each hostel is well-equipped with spacious single and double rooms that are well-ventilated. Health clubs, indoor activities, and television were also provided for endeavour and amusement.

A separate NRI hostel is located near the campus.

Library

The heart of each institution is its library and information centre. CODS Library was created in 1991. It is the best-organized library, with all amenities. The Library expresses its gratitude for the superb preparations and amenities.

      This college is a private dental college and is also known as CODS Davangree.
      In this category , you can try doing the option entry for the G quota (if you are a domicile of Karnataka).
      Or else you have to select the P quota seats.
      The Fee structure of P quota and G Quota is different.
