The College of Dentistry, Indore is the only Government Dental College in MP. It was founded in 1961. It is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. The courses are approved by the Madhya Pradesh Dental Council and the Dental Council of India, New Delhi. The Institution offers BDS and MDS Courses. The principal of the College is Dr. Deshraj Jain.

The number of students taken for the undergraduate BDS is 63 and for postgraduate MDS is 29. Admission to the Dental Courses is based on merit as well as the NEET Score. It is located in the heart of the city, around 1.7 km from the bus stop and 1.9 km from the railway station.

Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Indore is among the well-known colleges in MP. It comes under the Madhya Pradesh Dental Sciences University, Jabalpur. Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry, Indore comes under the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences(SAIMS). It was established in 2006. It comes under the Sri Aurobindo University.
