Eligibility Criteria for BDS

  • Applicants for the BDS programme must be 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year in order to be admitted.
  • The applicant must have passed the 10+2 exam or a test of similar standards, with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as their core subject areas.
  • In addition to passing each of these subjects individually, the candidate must have earned at least a 50% total mark in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English combined.
  • Candidates from the ST, SC, and OBC categories must have obtained at least a 40% total grade in the courses of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, as well as passing grades in each of these categories separately.
  • A high rank on the NEET undergraduate exam must have been achieved by the applicant.

Admission Process

  • Admission to undergraduate medical programmes at private medical colleges is subject to rules established by the federal, state, and union territory governments of India.
  • A body chosen by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine will administer the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), which will be used by all undergraduate medical colleges (NCISM).

Eligibility Criteria for MDS

  • Candidates must possess a BDS degree from a college that has been approved or acknowledged by the Dental Council of India.
  • The minimum BDS score for applicants in the general category is 50%, whereas the required minimum BDS score for applicants in the ST/SC/OBC categories is 40%.
