Swami Devi Dyal Dental College had an intake of 100 students in the BDS course of their first batch of college. The college was established in 2004. The Government of India has approved to start MDS in 9 specialties with 3 seats each in the year 2011. The institute aims to provide the best and quality education to the candidates.   • The course duration is of 3 years.
  • The total fee of the MDS course is 685000.
  • To take admission in MDS course. The candidates must complete their BDS course after that they can pursue a master’s course. The candidate must obtain 50% marks in the qualifying examination of BDS.
  • The admission for 16 seats will be filled based on the Entrance Examination. Furthermore, the remaining 11 seats are to be filled by Management Quota including 15% NRI.

The branch deals with the preservation of teeth. The specialties use the latest technology in the field of root canal treatment. Dental Decay is the most common dental problem. The department has a fully operational dental electric chair, a bleaching light, an operating microscope, and a well fully equipped laboratory.

  1. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

This branch deals with the surgical management of diseases & disorders affecting Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The department has a minor operation theatre that caters to surgeries done under sedation/ Local anesthesia. In department has a 20 bedded ward and a major operation theatre. The department conducts an oral health week from 13th Feb to 19th Feb to increase awareness about oral diseases. The college also conducts question-answer sessions held at different locations as a part of the program.

  1. Oral Medicine & Radiology

This branch deals with the diagnosis & treatment of diseases in the oral & maxilla facial region. The course practical has the latest technologies such as CT Scans, X-Rays, CBTC, etc. The latest technologies like CBTC have made diagnosis more accurate and the need for diagnosticians has also increased. Radiography is performed in the department for diagnosis of bone disorders, treatment planning of patients, and orthodontic treatment.
