Swami Devi Dyal Dental College had an intake of 100 students in the BDS course of their first batch of college. The college was established in 2004. The Government of India has approved to start of MDS in 9 specialities with 3 seats each in the year 2011. The institute aims to provide the best quality education to the candidates. The college had the best infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories and departments for both students and patients.

The BDS & MDS course is affiliated with Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The campus is Wifi enabled with a high-speed internet facility having a bandwidth of 16 Mbps. Bachelor of Dental Surgery

• The duration of the BDS course is of 5 years.
• The total seat is 100 and 25 for management candidates.
• The candidates must be of 17 years or more than 17 years of age.
• The students must have passed Class 10+2 schooling with recognition of the state or central board.
• The students must obtain at least 50% marks in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English individually qualifying in all subjects.
• The candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, and other backward classes must obtain 40% in the qualifying examination.
• The tuition fees of the BDS courses are 2.80 lakh. And, the University fees are 20, 460.

Master of Dental Surgery

• The course duration is of 3 years.
• The total fee of the MDS course is 685000.
• To take admission in the MDS course. The candidates must complete their BDS course after that they can pursue a master’s course. The candidate must obtain 50% marks in the qualifying examination of BDS.
• The admission for 16 seats will be filled based on the Entrance Examination. Furthermore, the remaining 11 seats are to be filled by Management Quota including 15% NRI.

The branch deals with the preservation of teeth. The specialities use the latest technology in the field of root canal treatment. Dental Decay is the most common dental problem. 2. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

This branch deals with the surgical management of diseases & disorders affecting Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The department has a minor operation theatre that caters to surgeries done under sedation/ Local anaesthesia. In department has a 20 bedded ward and a major operation theatre. The department conducts an oral health week from 13^th Feb to 19^th Feb to increase awareness about oral diseases. 3. Oral Medicine & Radiology

This branch deals with the diagnosis & treatment of diseases in the oral & maxilla facial region. The course practical has the latest technologies such as CT Scans, X-Rays, CBTC, etc. The latest technologies like CBTC have made diagnosis more accurate and the need for diagnosticians has also increased.
