Dr. Harvansh Singh Institute of Dental Sciences Hospital was established in 2006 in Chandigarh and is affiliated with Punjab University. The college was created with a vision to spread education on Oral Health. The college offers both BDS and MDS. The college constitutes of eighteen departments which there are nine dental and nine medical. The college is duly approved by both the Dental Council of India and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 

The college and hospital treat 250-300 beds regularly and have the latest technology and equipment for both treatment and education. Besides their own Dental Hospital, a hundred-bed hospital for both quality teaching and training for students of dentistry is in active construction. The college ranked 24 in 2022 by India Today for dental colleges out of 60 colleges.
