BDS	Candidates must qualify for the PUC exam with English as a compulsory subject.  Should qualify for the NEET examination.  50% aggregate in 12th-standard subjects in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.  SC or ST or OBC quota is applicable for only Karnataka-origin candidates.
MDS	Applicants should have a BDS degree from a dental college recognized by the Dental Council of India.  Candidates should complete the compulsory rotatory internship on or before March 31st of that year.  Candidates must qualify for the NEET-MDS examination with a minimum score. Karnataka candidates can only opt for SC/ST/OBC quota. The maximum age limit for in-service candidates is 48 years and non-service candidates have no age limit for  Candidates who have pursued dental sciences abroad must qualify for the FMGE-Screening Test administered by the Nation Board of Education or the DCI.
