Dental College Fee Structure in Bangalore
The fee structure is approximately the same for all the colleges in Bangalore. Depending on the college and its location and reputation, there might be a little variation. However, the fees keep getting lesser in the colleges as you move a little away from Bangalore.
The colleges don’t charge any donations from the students. The seats are allotted by the KEA based on the merit of a student. This merit is decided based on the NEET Rank of the student and the colleges to which they opt for admission.
However, some colleges that get some seats in the stray vacancy round due to the non-joining of students accept applications of some deserving students and allow them the seats at lower fees to promote education.

How to Choose A Dental College in Bangalore?
In this part, I want to give you a complete idea of how to choose a dental college in Bangalore.
Along with the fancy Infrastructure and Campus, I would also prefer to keep some more things in mind.
When you choose a college, please keep the following things in mind. While choosing a college, please do keep in mind the following things.
- Patient Flow
Choose dental colleges with excellent patient flow and exposure. If there is low patient exposure, then you won’t be able to get a chance to treat a patient. Without treating a patient, you won’t be able to work in the future. This is the first and foremost thing to remember before admission into any dental college.
Dentistry is an art and science. You would be working in a patient’s mouth with many details. Confidence is generated inside a student when being able to skillfully handle the small organ TOOTH inside a small opening of the oral cavity, and such confidence is generated with time while working on a patient. So, choosing a college with a good OPD is always wiser.
- Affiliation and Recognition
The college must be affiliated with a reputed and well-known university and must be recognized by the Dental Council of India. You can check the official DCI website for the approval details.
- Faculties
The college must have excellent full-time faculties in all clinical departments like Oral Medicine, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Periodontics, etc. These are the major departments in which you have to work on general patients, and the availability of faculties plays a major role in building a student’s confidence.
- Affordable Fees
The college must only charge an affordable miscellaneous fee. There are dental colleges in Bangalore that charge very high fees for materials, hostels, food, books, etc. The miscellaneous fees will be fixed by the college authority, and there won’t be any changes in that.
So, it is advisable to enquire about the extra fees apart from the annual fees before choosing a college so that the student and parent don’t face any surprises.
- Accessibility
You must be able to reach the college easily. If the college is located very far, reaching the college would be hard for you and the patients. This is just an extra tip for you.
Also, being more easily accessible means more patient inflow in the college. Also, the nearby locality shall be researched in order to understand the environment.
These are just a few tips I would give all the candidates and parents before joining any dental college in Bangalore.
Now I will give you in-depth details about each college in the ranking order. You can read about the same below. If you are admitted to any of the top dental colleges in Bangalore, you can call me at the below number.
