The NEET Counselling 2024 process will begin in July 2024, approximately one month after the NEET 2024 results are announced. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will oversee the counselling for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats across India.To participate in NEET Counselling 2024, candidates must have qualified the NEET 2024 exam and meet the specified eligibility criteria. The counselling process involves the following steps:
- Registration: Candidates must register online on the MCC website and pay the required fees.
- Choice Filling: Registered candidates can select their preferred colleges and courses based on availability and eligibility.
- Seat Allotment: Seats will be allocated based on candidates' preferences, NEET 2024 ranks, seat availability, and reservation criteria.
- Document Uploading: Candidates must upload the necessary documents, such as the NEET admit card, scorecard, and identity proof, for verification.
- College Reporting: Candidates must report to the allotted college and complete the admission process.
The NEET Counselling 2024 will include four rounds: NEET AIQ Round 1, NEET AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round, and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. The counselling process is expected to extend over four to five months, with approximately six rounds in total.The NEET Counselling 2024 fee structure is as follows:
- Registration Fee: ₹1,000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, ₹500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates
- Admission Fee (Refundable): ₹10,000 for General, ₹5,000 for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD
- Private University Fee (Refundable): ₹2,00,000 for all categories
