NEET UG 2024 Cut-off
NEET UG 2024 Cutoff is higher than expected this year with 164 as the minimum score limit for the General category, check out the detailed description of the cutoff table given below:
- For the Unreserved/EWS (UR/EWS) category, the cut-off percentile is the 50th percentile, with a cut-off score range of 720 to 164. The number of candidates in this category is 1,165,904.
- For the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, the cut-off percentile is the 40th percentile, with a cut-off score range of 163 to 129. The number of candidates in this category is 100,769.
- For the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, the cut-off percentile is the 40th percentile, with a cut-off score range of 163 to 129. The number of candidates in this category is 34,326.
- For the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, the cut-off percentile is the 40th percentile, with a cut-off score range of 163 to 129. The number of candidates in this category is 14,478.

BDS Admission in Karnataka Eligibility for 2024
The following steps are required to get admission to any BDS college in Karnataka-
Step 1: Clear NEET-UG Examination
Step 2: Register yourself by paying INR 2500 at the KEA official website
Step 3: Verification of your documents will be done by the KEA
Step 4: Participate in the counseling rounds
Step 5: A seat will be allotted to you in a BDS college based on your score and your choices
BDS Admission in Karnataka Process
To get admission to any college in Karnataka, candidates first need to be qualified for the NEET. Then, the candidate has to attend the online counseling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority to get admission to any dental colleges in Karnataka.
KEA Counseling Procedure 2024
Qualification
The first and foremost the candidate must qualify for the NEET-UG entrance exam.
Online Registration
If you have qualified for NEET, then you must go to the official website at kea.kar.nic.in and register by paying a fee of around Rs.2500.
Document Verification
KEA will announce the date for document verification on their website. The document verification will be done both offline and online. The document verification will be done online for non-Karnataka students who wish to be admitted to private dental colleges in Karnataka.
– Upload the required documents and wait for the provisionally verified lists to be uploaded by KEA.
– You can check your name on that list and download the verification slip online.
– The documents will be verified offline for NRI-sponsored candidates and Karnataka-domicile candidates.
– The candidate must be physically present with all the original documents at the KEA office.
Online Counseling Rounds
The candidate must log in to the KEA account on the counseling date and be given the choice of college they want to join. The allotment result will be published in a few days. If you can’t get a seat in the first round, you can attend the second round of counseling.
MOP-UP Round
After the second round of counseling, the vacant seats will be allotted in the MOP-UP round.
Stray Vacancy Round
The KEA will conduct stray vacancy and extended stray vacancy rounds after the MopUp round for the vacant seats.
